Years 9 and 10
The Year 9 program has been designed to cater for the needs of students within this age group. It is a time of increasing independence for young adolescents as they strive to develop an identity for themselves that is separate to that of the key adults in their lives. Peer groups become increasingly important as they begin to formulate their own individual identity. The program has been constructed to enable students to use this time of exploration and self discovery as the basis of their learning.
The motto of Year 9 is 'Responsible Learning, Responsible Living" and the program endeavours to ensure that students understand what this means and how it can be lived out at school, at home and in the community.
In Year 9 the students study the following subjects:

The students continue to develop in the use of the language of the Habits of Mind to describe their personal learning goals and construct portfolios of their Tasters work and of their other subjects.

Pathways - Years 10, 11 and 12
Through Years 10, 11 and 12 the range of options available for students both in subjects and courses broadens. Students are encouraged to think deeply about their future pathway and to thoughtfully plot their way through the final years of secondary school.

The Year 10 students can choose from the following electives:
- Students are invited to apply for an accelerated study in either a VCE subject or to begin a VET certificate in Year 10
- Health and Physical Education: Adventure Sports, lnternational Games
- Performing Arts: Drama and the Theatre, Music for Life, Media
- LOTE: Indonesian, Italian
- Visual Arts: Photography, Studio Arts, Visual Communication and Design
- Technology: Food Technology, Woodwork, Fashion Design and Technology, Information Tec
