Postions of Leadership

Head of Resource Centre (POL 3)

The Head of Library leads the operation and development of the Marian Resource Centre. They are responsible for the development and maintenance of a relevant, responsive and dynamic information service for the College community

Central to the role is an understanding of the need to support and resource staff and student learning. The Marian Resource Centre is to be a place of welcome where a love of learning and inclusion are engrained. The Head of Library is responsible for ensuring a strong presence is maintained to support student access to information inside and outside of the physical location of the Centre. They will support the development of the learning and teaching program through teamwork, mentoring and role modelling for teachers, teaching teams and students.

Instructional Leader (POL 3)

Instructional Leaders are responsible for guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Learning and Teaching Program, ensuring curriculum programs are future-focused and relevant. This role also involves shaping teacher pedagogy by promoting high-impact strategies that maximise student learning progress.

The Team of Instructional Leaders collaboratively drive the advancement of curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and reporting across all Learning Areas at the College, with a strong focus on coaching staff and fostering continuous improvement in teaching practices. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful change and elevate the overall learning experience.
