The School Improvement and Annual Action Plan refer to the goal of giving student leaders a voice in the decision making process of the school.

For the Lamp Bearers, Student Representative Council, Student Participation Group and House Captains it is not just about having the badge that is received at the Investiture Assembly but it is about bringing about change for the better of the student body.

The significant changes to the learning program at Years 9/10 came about because of the suggestions the student body made about their learning opportunities.

In recent times the student leadership body have formed the Child Safety Sub-Committee, have suggested changes to the school uniform and recommended the gowns worn by the Year 12 class each year at Graduation.
